To be eligible for undergraduate admission at the University of Houston – Clear Lake, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and meet the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements. A minimum SAT score of 1080 (combined Math and Evidence-Based Reading & Writing) or ACT composite score of 21 is typically required. Transfer students need at least 12 college credit hours with a 2.0 GPA.
For graduate programs, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Some programs may require higher GPAs, standardized test scores (GRE/GMAT), letters of recommendation, or a statement of purpose.
