After graduating in Spain, international students can apply for a Post-Study Work Visa (Autorización de Residencia para Búsqueda de Empleo o Emprendimiento). This visa allows graduates to stay for up to 2 years to seek employment or start a business. Applicants must apply within 60 days of graduation and prove financial means (100% of IPREM monthly).
Once employed, they can switch to a work visa. Spain also offers a Highly Skilled Professional Visa for roles with salaries exceeding €40,000/year. EU Blue Card options exist for high-demand sectors, requiring a job offer and validated qualifications.
