Post study work visa options after graduating from France?

After graduating in France, international students can apply for a temporary residence permit called APS (Autorisation Provisoire de Séjour). This allows non-EU graduates to stay for up to 12 months to seek employment related to their field of study. The APS must be applied for within 4 years of graduation.

If securing a job with a minimum salary of 1.5 times the SMIC (€2,379 gross/month in 2024), graduates can transition to a Passeport Talent visa, valid for 4 years. EU graduates face no restrictions and can work freely in France.
