Post study work visa options after graduating from Netherlands?

After graduating from a Dutch university, international students can apply for the Orientation Year Visa (Zoekjaar). This permit allows graduates to stay in the Netherlands for up to 12 months to search for employment or start a business. Eligible candidates include those who completed a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD from a recognized Dutch institution.

During this period, graduates can work without a work permit or restrictions. If they secure a highly skilled migrant job or meet other visa requirements, they can transition to a long-term residence permit. The application must be filed within three years of graduation.
