To be eligible for undergraduate admission at North Eastern Illinois University (NEIU), applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required, though some programs may have higher requirements. Standardized test scores (SAT/ACT) are optional for most programs. Transfer students need at least 24 semester hours of college credit with a 2.0 GPA.
Graduate applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.75 GPA. Some programs require GRE/GMAT scores, letters of recommendation, or a statement of purpose. International students must prove English proficiency via TOEFL/IELTS or equivalent.
