Hanover College seeks academically prepared students with a strong high school record. Applicants should complete a rigorous curriculum, including four years of English, three years of mathematics (through Algebra II), and two years of laboratory science. A competitive GPA (typically 3.0 or higher) is expected.
Standardized test scores (SAT/ACT) are optional but can strengthen an application. Extracurricular involvement, leadership, and personal essays are also considered. International students must demonstrate English proficiency via TOEFL (79+) or IELTS (6.5+). Transfer students need a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial aid eligibility requires FAFSA submission for domestic students.
