To be eligible for Tasmania’s skilled migration program, applicants must meet specific criteria. First, they must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect and receive an invitation. They must also meet the points test (usually 65+ points) and have an occupation listed on Tasmania’s Skilled Occupation List (TSOL).
Additionally, candidates must demonstrate competent English, meet health and character requirements, and commit to living in Tasmania for at least two years. Those with a job offer from a Tasmanian employer or recent graduates from a Tasmanian institution may receive priority. State nomination depends on Tasmania’s current migration needs.
