To enroll in BASair’s CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence) or PPL (Private Pilot Licence) programs, candidates must meet specific criteria. For a PPL, applicants must be at least 17 years old, hold a Class 2 medical certificate, and complete a minimum of 40 flight hours, including 10 hours of solo flight. For a CPL, the minimum age is 18, and a Class 1 medical certificate is required. Candidates must also log at least 200 flight hours, including 100 hours as pilot-in-command.
