Several countries permit students to change study levels without reapplying for a new visa. In the UK, Tier 4 (General) visa holders can switch between courses or education levels, provided the new institution sponsors them and the course meets visa requirements.
Australia allows Student Visa (subclass 500) holders to change courses or levels if registered with the same or another accredited institution. Canada’s Study Permit generally permits level changes, but students must notify IRCC if transferring schools. The U.S. F-1 visa allows education level changes, but students must update their SEVIS record and maintain full-time enrollment.
