The UK’s Graduate Route allows international students to stay for up to two years (three for PhD holders) to work. Canada offers the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), valid for up to three years, depending on program length. Australia’s Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) permits stays of 18 months to four years. The US provides Optional Practical Training (OPT), allowing 12 months (or 36 for STEM fields) of work authorization.
