Graduates in Lithuania can apply for a temporary residence permit to seek employment or start a business under the National Visa (D) or Temporary Residence Permit (TRP). The permit allows up to 12 months to find work, provided the applicant holds a recognized degree from a Lithuanian institution.
Once employed, graduates may switch to a work-based TRP, valid for up to two years and renewable. EU Blue Card eligibility exists for high-skilled roles meeting salary thresholds. Lithuania also offers a startup visa for entrepreneurs. Applicants must prove financial means and health insurance during the process.
