To be eligible for undergraduate admission at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU), applicants must meet specific academic requirements. A completed application, official high school transcripts, and SAT/ACT scores are mandatory. Freshmen must rank in the top 50% of their high school class or have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Alternatively, a SAT score of 1020 (combined math and evidence-based reading/writing) or ACT composite of 20 is acceptable.
Transfer students need at least 12 college credits with a 2.0 GPA. International applicants must demonstrate English proficiency via TOEFL or IELTS. Some programs may have additional criteria.
