The PTE (Pearson Test of English) and IELTS (International English Language Testing System) are both widely accepted for studying abroad. PTE is a computer-based test with results typically available within 48 hours, while IELTS offers both paper and computer formats, with results in 13 days.<\/p>\n

IELTS is more established and accepted by more institutions globally, including universities in the UK and Australia. PTE is gaining traction but may not be accepted everywhere. IELTS has separate Academic and General Training modules, whereas PTE Academic focuses solely on academic English.
